Trip To Kapit,Sarawak

I just came back from kapit, the central and cultural village of the Iban sarawak people. It was the first native here and used to be headhunter before. But there is no more skull on their traditional longhouse. It's a looong structure where there is more then 40 houses. All group of native here used to live in that kind of house with a community system. Together, we are more strong. We have been invited by the leader to sleep over and we participate to a global gardening in preparation of Christmas festivities. Something else it the Iban culture is the alcool. It's very important and they drink this "tuak". An alcool made from rice. Nobody knows how strong it can be because they just made it and that it. Anyway, it was an unique and incredible experience to be part of this race. Insider of the house, it's super modern btw.
